Commission agrees on publishing relevant documents on CIS

The Commission has agreed with the European Parliament to make public all relevant documents (such as agendas, minutes and meeting documents) concerning expert groups of the Common Implementation Strategy of the Water Frame Directive from the portal WFD CIRCA: "Implementing the Water Framework Directive".

The practical implication of this would be that access to the current public part would remain completely public, while the current member section would be transformed into public but with the requirement that those seeking access register first as a user in CIRCA.

In order to ensure compliance with rules on protection of personal data, the Commission ensures that the CIS Contact List itself which contains names and contact information for all CIS group members will be password-protected with a password which will only be made available to members of the CIS groups. circa
