Call for Experts in Water Management - Green Assist

CINEA, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, oversees the implementation of Green Assist, an initiative that facilitates environmentally impactful investments through the advisory support of over 300 experts covering a wide range of relevant sectors and competencies.

As water efficiency and sustainable water management gain importance, Green Assist is expanding its expert recruitment campaign in these fields. Professionals with expertise in areas such as efficient water resource management, nature-based solutions integrating water absorption and drainage in urban areas, and sustainable water practices are being sought. Moreover, practical strategic or business experience in supporting private or public beneficiaries on the ground through expert advice is a requirement.

Green Assist experts will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide strategic (governance, business, VC/equity or infrastructure financing, or high-level sectoral, such as LCA) advice on investments related to water efficiency and water preservation.
  • Support the development and maturity of projects and their business models or supply chains that enhance water resource resilience and sustainable water practices.
  • Ensure projects align with EU environmental (ecological) best practices and standards by integrating nature-based solutions for urban water absorption and drainage.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business providers offering innovative solutions and decision-making authorities responsible for investments in water-related projects.

Experts interested in joining the roster for these activities can apply by filling in the questionnaire via the EU Survey accessible on the CINEA website. The LinkedIn post on this call for experts is also available for further dissemination.

Ecorys manages the Green Assist Programme on behalf of CINEA and will follow up on all applications received. More information on Green Assist is available on the Green Assist CINEA Webpage and the Green Assist LinkedIn post.
