The EU Water Innovation conference 2019 (EUWIC) will take place in the Placio de Congresos de Zaragoza, Spain on the 12^th of December. The European Commission aims to raise awareness about the need and urgency to improve water management across the European Union towards a water-smart society.

Following in the footsteps of previous European Innovation Partnership (EIP) Water conferences, it aims to accelerate action to tackle water pollution and enhance EU preparedness to water-related climate change impacts. This will be the 5^th EIP Water Conference after Brussels (2013), Barcelona (2014), Leeuwarden (2016) and Porto (2017) and will build on the European EIP Water’s efforts so far to foster innovation in the water sector and overcome the main existing barriers. The Water JPI will be one of the main partners of the event with other including ZINNAE, Spanish Water Technology Platform (PTEA), Water Europe and EurEau. Register for the conference here.
