LATEST NEWS:

The project recommended to be funded by the Call Steering Committee under the AquaticPollutants Transfer Project additional call for proposals on Scientific Networking and Transfer Projects addressing research and development for supporting knowledge transfer, scientific networking, and public engagement was AquaticPollutantsTransNet. It is a consortium of four partners (two French, one German and one Swedish). The project should start in spring of 2021 for a duration of approximatively four years.

The AquaticPollutants Transfer Project is a call launched in support of the three Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) on Water, Oceans and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) to strengthen the European research area in the field of clean and healthy aquatic ecosystems by facilitating networking between researchers, knowledge hubs and the dissemination of scientific data into the public and administrative sectors.

The call Aquatic Pollutants Transfer Project opened in February 2020 with a budget of 1M€ gathered by 3 funding agencies involved: Sweden (SRC), Germany (BMBF) and France (ANR) and dedicated to fund proposals issued from the existing call Aquatic Pollutants.

About the Call

The three Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) on Water, Oceans and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) are pleased to announce an additional call for proposals on Scientific Networking and Transfer Projects addressing research and development for supporting knowledge transfer, scientific networking, and public engagement based on the AquaticPollutants 2020 Joint Transnational Call projects. This Transfer Project is a novelty for the JPIs and emphasizes the high transfer orientation of the topic.

The Transfer Project will be part of the AquaticPollutants projects’ family and accompany its research and innovation projects. The objective is to realize a better and wider dissemination, develop new innovative methods to support the transfer of research and the uptake of results into the public and administrative sector, policy, industry or economy. This will lead to a greater and focused impact and increase the awareness of the research projects’ outcomes.

Moreover, cross-cutting issues that address all transnational projects alike, can be dealt with and lead to a better alignment of the three participating JPIs.

The projected call budget is approximately 0.85 million Euro.

Call themes:

The call is divided into 2 themes with several subthemes. The submitted proposals must be transfer-oriented and should address the following topics:

  1. Research and development of innovative strategies and methods for knowledge transfer, scientific networking, and increased public engagement
  2. Implementation and valorisation of new methods for transfer, communication, and dissemination
