Water Security and Climate Change Conference

We are pleased to announce that abstracts are now being solicited for the WSCC 2019; organized by the Centers for Natural Resources and Development – CNRD (TH Köln), the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí- UASLP, the International Network on Sustainable Water Management in Developing Countries - SWINDON (TU Braunschweig) and the Food Security Center - FSC.
The submission is open until 21 June 2019. Follow the link to the submission platform in order to sign in and upload your contribution. We highly welcome presentations, which combine academic and practical approaches as well as the introduction of new dimensions and perspectives in the current discourse on water security.
Accepted contributions to the conference will be published in the WSCC book of abstracts. A special book edition of the conference, and the publication in selected academic journals is intended. Each session is hosted by prominent organizations – experts in relevant fields. The conference will focus on the following topics:
- Drinking Water and Human Well-being
- Water Related Ecosystems and Ecosystem Services
- Water Related Economic Activities and Development
- Water Related Hazards and Climate Change
- Enabling Environment for Water Security
- The Water-Energy-Food Security Nexus
