Science Communication Innovation Challenge
The Science Communication Innovation Challenge aims to find new knowledge transfer strategies to better address emerging contaminants, antimicrobial resistance, and pathogens, and their impact on human health and the environment. Teams of more than two individuals, representing diverse backgrounds, are encouraged to develop innovative knowledge transfer strategies. By involving stakeholders and consulting with communication experts, this challenge aims to improve science communication and enhance the visibility of research.
Forming Teams
Teams should comprise professionals from various sectors and include representatives from target stakeholder audiences. A team captain will serve as the main point of contact. This collaborative approach ensures effective strategy development and direct engagement with the intended audience.
Consulting Communication Experts
Teams will be assigned Communication Experts who offer guidance and advice on innovative knowledge transfer methods. These experts come from diverse scientific communication and stakeholder engagement backgrounds. Teams can request consultations via email to benefit from their expertise throughout the submission period.
Submission Process
Teams must submit their proposed knowledge transfer strategies through an online form and send necessary attachments via email. After the submission deadline, teams will receive a post-evaluation survey to gather feedback. Results and further actions will be communicated via email.
