UNESCO unveils the key takeaways from the UN-Water Summit on Groundwater
Although the UN-Water Summit on Groundwater took place in December of last year, the messages conveyed during the event remain highly pertinent. To ensure the continued dissemination of these valuable insights, UNESCO has recently prepared a booklet that compiles the key milestones of the event. This publication serves to bring together and highlight the most significant takeaways of the summit, making it accessible to a wider audience and what’s most important to keep making groundwater visible.
By setting a clear marker, the Summit reinforced the need for sustained international attention and collective action towards preserving this invisible but crucial resource.
