This call received funding from 12 partner organizations across 12 countries and supported eight scientifically excellent transnational projects with a combined budget of €6.8 million. These projects tackled diverse disciplines and developed innovative solutions to pressing water-related issues, ensuring alignment with the call’s objectives.

The kick-off meeting for these projects was held in Paris, France, on February 6, 2019. This meeting provided an opportunity for project coordinators to discuss scientific gaps, challenges, and strategies for achieving the ambitious goals of the call.
