Global impact assessment of Water JPI activities – invitation to the Online Launch Event

The Joint Programming Initiative on “Water challenges for a changing world” (Water JPI) was launched by the Council of the European Union in 2011 as a means to tackle major societal, environmental, and economical challenges in the field of water and hydrological sciences, and to promote sustainable economy in Europe and abroad. To achieve this, the Water JPI has aimed at better alignment of the efforts of the EU Member States and mobilization of skills, knowledge, and resources. Now, a global impact assessment of Water JPI activities has been carried out, and the results will be publicized in an Online Launch Event on Friday 20 May 2022, from 10.00 to 13.00 CEST (organized in MS Teams).

During this Online Launch Event, the Impact Assessment Evaluation Group, chaired by Leonidas Antoniou, will present the results of the impact assessment, proceeded by a panel discussion and an interactive Q&A session to reflect on the results.

The Online Launch Event is organized back-to-back with the Water JPI Governing Board meeting. This event is open to all. We count on your participation! Please register through this link by 9^th May 2022.
