Welcome Estonia!

The Estonian government formally expressed its interest to participate in Water JPI on 30 September 2013.

Through this, Estonia becomes the 19th participating country in the initiative and joins the team of European countries that aim at achieving sustainable water systems for a sustainable economy in Europe and beyond through coordination of their national research and innovation plans.

The representation of Estonia is done through the Ministry of Environment responsible for research planning and promotion in Water.

Water JPI counts with a total of 24 countries (of which five are observers) and the European Commission (as a non-voting partner).
